While typing regular non-emoji emoticons like :p :D, generally matching /\s:[a-z]{1,}/i there's this wild suggestion panel which pops up suggeting totaly irreleveant emojis.

<oreover, it hijacks keypresses (typing letters, using arrows, pressing enter) until eventualy an emoji is selected or popup is dismissed with our saviour, the Escape Key.

It would be much more conveintent to allow one who finds this feature extremally annoying to actualy disable this behaviour.
