My enterprise Slack team makes me re-authenticate every few days. While going through the HAR export/import process is not hard, it is a bit inconvenient, requiring a bunch of clicks.

It would be nice if Ripcord had a more convenient option. I can think of two possibilities:

• Add an option to the authentication dialog to open a web view, which would start at the login page, then automatically grab the token once the user logs in.

• Create a browser extension for common browsers that would automatically send the token to the Ripcord app. This would work well for me personally, since (a) I use the official Slack client from time to time despite having Ripcord installed, and (b) I do so through a browser instead of the Electron app. But other users may differ.
