Title: Voice calls will quietly fail

While on voicecall, there is a non-zero chance that one of the following will happen after being in the call for ~30+ minutes:

  • At some point, I will be able to hear other people in the call, but they won't be able to hear me. I will only realize this is happening when I realize no one can hear me.
  • At some point, I will suddenly become unable to either hear other people on the call or for them to hear me. I will only realize this is happening after becoming suspicious of the silence.

In both of these cases, there is no indication in the client that anything is wrong, and it can be fixed by simply closing the call window and joining again.

I'm not sure what could be causing this issue, maybe a weak internet connection? I imagine maybe there's some sort of ping or check that could be made in order to ensure everything in the call is still connected and phoning home appropiately and automatically fix it if not?

I know this report is vague but that is all I know and I have noticed no pattern as to why this might happen. It does not happen in Discord's first party client.

Best regards,
