surgdev — 2019-10-28 16:30:11 This is a niche feature, but I could see other people needing it. I use a Chromebook running gallium, and Chromebooks turn off their wifi module when you close the lid. Ripcord (and discord) takes a while to realize that it has lost connection after it's regained it and at least for discord requires changing channels for it to update (this does not work on discord). If we could have a keybind to initiate a reconnect/refresh (like ctrl+r, for example), that would be great. | ||||
cancel — 2019-11-17 22:06:35 Not a bad idea to have some way to reconnect all more easily... but not Ctrl+R, which is prime real estate for something that isn't a web browser. ("Refresh" makes no sense for Ripcord, because it's not a web browser. But something like reconnecting all accounts might make sense... but doing it rapidly with Discord can get you banned, so it needs a lot of protection layers to prevent accidental input or a cat walking on the keyboard from getting you banned.) |
