I know this has been requested before, wondering if you've had a change of heart though since I would love this feature being implemented. Would it be too difficult to intercept whatever signal discord sends to delete a message and prevent it from happening? would work kind of like a firewall in a sense, no need to recover messages.

Ripcord already allows you to view deleted messages on Discord (right click on the message and view details) under any of the following circumstances:

• It's a DM or a group DM channel.

• You have channel moderator permissions ("manage messages" or the general administrator privilege.)

• You're the guild owner.

Ripcord tries to respect the right for people to delete their own messages when it makes sense. It doesn't make sense for Ripcord to retain and display all of the messages it receives unconditionally.

I see, that's fair logic, how about an option to display the messages in the chat room rather than having to click message details when those conditions are fulfilled?
