If my laptop goes into sleep mode or the lid is closed, once I return to it Slack reconnects but Discord does not even with auto-connect selected. I see a Connection Error message in the lower-right-hand corner, and when I click it double-clicking the Discord account reconnects; perhaps the application could make a single attempt to reconnect by itself when it senses the error.

Multi-duplicate, won't bother to find the previous links. Ripcord does automatically reconnect to Discord, but it could be improved. Look for the duplicate tickets and read there instead of adding another.
