arestifo — 2019-11-22 09:42:37 It would be nice to be able to write multiline comments. In slack and other chats, this is usually done by pressing alt+enter.
cancel — 2019-11-22 18:52:43 The standard is shift+enter, not alt+enter. I've never seen it done with alt+enter. Alt+enter does nothing for me in Discord. Alt+enter cannot safely be used in Windows due to some language input methods using it. If you think this is a mistake, please leave another comment listing which OS you are using, which service you are using (Discord, Slack) and which language you are using.
cancel — 2019-11-22 18:54:12 Sorry, I should have made it more clear -- use shift+enter in Ripcord, not alt+enter. Alt+enter cannot generally be used by an application in Windows because users will expect it to either do nothing or to fullscreen the program. Shift+enter is the standard that works across Ripcord, Slack's web and desktop client, and Discord's web and desktop client.
spyder — 2019-12-02 01:25:10 I agree shift+enter is fine, but for the record alt+enter is the standard in some mac applications - most notably messages.
