Call quality is fine, bandwidth is a-plenty, but once every 4-5 hours of discord call-time on average I silently drop from a call, stop hearing other participants, and they stop hearing me. It shows everyone as still being in the call (There's no UI indication of a problem) and I can still see my own voicemeter move with my voice.

Once I realize it's happened, either from suspiciously long silences or people messaging me that they can't hear me, quitting and rejoining the call restores audio both ways.

I'd wager occasional dropped packets or some other network anomaly external to my own network are causing the calls to enter this "silent disconnect" state, but of course I don't really know since I haven't done any pcaps or anything. Standard Discord doesn't have the same problem. The issue is present in the last several versions, perhaps since the beginning.

Working on it, but it'll take a bit. Ripcord is very conservative when it comes to automatically reconnecting to voice calls -- and it also doesn't have an obvious indicator when you've been disconnected-without-reconnect, which is a really stupid/bad combination of problems. I didn't expect people to make sure heavy use of the voice call feature, so... I'm spending some time soon to fix this stuff up.

No. I may add some to try to figure out the various causes for different people. I'll post something about it for some coming test versions.

If we can at least get a notification when disconnected, it could be very cool. Thanks for your work.

PS: It seems I can change tickets status even if I'm not the creator/admin. I changed the severity option just to prove it.

Add a facet to this ticket. When you are disconnected, the number of people in channel is not decremented. So say myself and friend are in channel. The channel count next to the channel name shows "2". When I'm disconnected, it still shows "2". If I reconnect, it'll show "3", even tho there is still only 2 in channel.
