MiKom — 2019-09-24 11:33:44 Right now, when using the search menu (ctrl+k) on Slack search is done only by "Real name" field. Some of our employees set "real name" to some funny stuff and are not found in this menu when I put their true real names. Slack client searches by both of these fields and IMHO that's a more user-friendly behavior. | ||||
cancel — 2019-09-26 01:10:19 I will need to re-examine this. The way the Slack web client does it is actually a bit dysfunctional, because it can return irrelevant or poorly-ordered results based on text that the user can't see. Let me think about this for a bit. |
