If I click the little arrow to expand a thread in a slack channel, when I go back the channel's scroll position has reset to the bottom. This makes it kinda tough to interact with threads. There is at least 'open thread in new tab' on the right click menu. If preserving scroll position is too difficult, an option to default to opening threads in a tab might be good enough.
