A simple guide to reproduce:

  • Open Ripcord on Mac and use the native fullscreen functionality
  • Connect to a Slack server, post a message of your own, and use right click -> Edit Message
  • The edit dialog opens as another fullscreen window (not a dialog)
  • When saving the edit, an empty black Space is left in the Spaces view (ctrl+up)

Note that dialogs that do act as expected include Add Reaction and Share.
