Joining a server (that has email protection emailed) triggers a soft lock, even if the account email is verified, I even tried using hotmail as I assumed other sites could be unknown and not "trusted"

Joining via web browser seems fine so I feel something about Ripcord is flagged, I understand there is little to be done to prevent this but I'm mainly seeking information and there isn't anywhere else to ask.

I'm not sure if there's much I can do about this. It doesn't happen to me. I'll look into it.

Okay so it also happens if I DM someone via ripcord, even if they message me first or I have them added, I will just avoid joining new servers and DMing people for now

Maybe it only happens on new accounts, as my accounts are fairly new (some were several months old however)
