C72 — 2021-04-28 18:30:51 Currently you cannot send messages at all if a channel has slowmode (rate limiting) enabled, which is annoying since I prefer the Ripcord client and public servers often have slowmode to reduce spam. Is there a way you could add support for it? Reproduction: Pretty obvious, go to a channel with slowmode enabled (make sure you don't have administrative privileges or the Manage Channel permission for that specific channel), you'll see "This channel is rate limited. Ripcord does not yet support rate limiting." and be unable to type. Clarifications: - I don't want a way to bypass slowmode, just that it could be compatible with Ripcord. - I know I know, there's another ticket regarding this issue (maybe 2?) The last ticket regarding this was from 2019 and lacked some specifics, so don't get mad at me LOL. - Having a permission that bypasses slowmode (e.g. Manage Channel) prevents this from appearing, and you can send messages like you normally could. That's my only issue with Ripcord, otherwise it's amazing! Keep up the good work! (Hell, I'm even considering buying a license to use it with Slack.) | ||||

god.DLL — 2021-10-26 21:54:51 Just stumbled on this bug. I thought there was something wrong, and now I know there is. This should at least be marked as such in channel configuration UI. |
